I like to explore remote areas in search of wildlife and a variety of Nature subjects. Finding a beautiful Owl can be very rewarding, especially when you get to spend some one on one time observing these wonderful birds without a herd of photographers competing around you. You get a natural looking subject with very little to no stress. Sometimes even the light is ideal.
In all honesty I had an idea that a barred Owl inhabited this region. I had heard it just over a month ago. When we headed out, I kept my fingers crossed. These birds are extremely silent and the chances of finding one in a large forest are pretty slim. Lucky for us, after just a few kilometers, it was majestically perched four meters above the ground. The forest was enchanting, snow covered all the trees which made the encounter even more magical.
I'm a Location Scout, Editorial, Nature, Wildlife and Environmental Photographer based in Malibu, California. I specialize in Nature and Urban Nature photography including Infrared Landscapes. The Bulk of my work takes place in the Los Angeles, California area, Greater Montreal Region, Canada, Switzerland, France and Varese in Northern Italy.
Ethical wildlife photography is the main priority and focus of my work. A minimum disturbance of the animals, their habitat and the environment is my top priority. This applies as much to total wilderness areas as it does to urban nature environments.
Ongoing education of environmental issues and building awareness for the protection of wildlife and wilderness areas around the world is what drives me to document the beauty that surrounds us.

Je suis un photographe éditorial qui se spécialise en photo nature, animalière et écologique. Basé à Malibu (Los Angeles), en Californie. Je me spécialise dans la nature et la photographie nature urbaine, y compris les paysages à l’infrarouge. Le plus gros de mon travail a lieu dans la région de Los Angeles, en Californie, la grande région métropolitaine de Montréal (Québec, Canada), Suisse et Varèse, au nord de l’Italie.
